FAQ

What is a watch?

A watch is something waper keeps an eye on. Three kinds: a topic (the agent finds sources), specific sources (sites, podcasts, channels or newsletters you name), and page changes (pricing pages, docs, changelogs). Each watch produces briefs at your cadence and can carry alert conditions that ping you the moment something matches.

What is a space?

A space is a container for a project or interest — watches, library items, documents and conversations. Everyone has a default space; create more like "Competitor research", "Reading", "Job hunt".

What's in the library?

Brief items you saved, clipped pages, transcribed videos and podcasts. Clipped pages keep only title, summary, key points and the original link; everything is searchable, askable and citable in documents.

How do credits work?

1 credit = $0.0003 of model cost. Chats, media transcription and deep research charge actual cost; 100 free credits reset daily, paid plans add a monthly pool, gifted credits expire first and are spent first.

What can Free do?

10 watches, 1 new watch a month, 100 daily credits, 1 site, 60 min/day of free slow transcription, 7 days of document history. Enough to read your briefs daily — not enough to run a newsroom on it.

Is there an API?

Yes. One API key calls /api/v1 (REST, JSON — spec at /api/v1/openapi.json), 60 requests/minute per account. MCP over Streamable HTTP works too.

How do I connect Claude / Cursor?

See MCP.

Can I export? Who owns the data?

Documents, library and transcripts all export to Markdown — your data is yours. Deleting your account deletes everything.

Are briefs in Chinese or English?

Both — issues are produced bilingually. You pick the display language in Settings; digest emails contain both.

Can others see my private watches?

No. Private watches are visible only to you — never in public briefs or on Discover.

Is the content compliant?

Sources are official APIs, RSS and public pages; clipped pages keep summaries only, never full text; every item in a brief must come from that cycle's real fetch.
