Briefs & notifications

Briefs condense new content into entries. Notifications are how they reach you.

Cadence

Each watch has its own rhythm: daily / weekly / only when a condition hits. The delivery time you set is in your local timezone (changeable in Settings).

Daily digest

  • At your chosen hour, all watches' new briefs merge into one email;
  • Frequency: adaptive (daily while you read, weekly once you don't), daily, weekly, off — changeable in Settings;
  • Every entry has a headline, summary and source link; a one-click unsubscribe link sits at the bottom (doesn't affect push or watches).

Browser push

  • Briefs push a browser notification when ready (enable in Settings — needs browser permission);
  • Alert-condition matches push immediately;
  • Even without push, everything appears on Today.

RSS

Every public watch serves RSS at /<lang>/w/<slug>/rss.xml — pipe waper briefs into your own reader.

Alert conditions

At watch creation or in settings, write a natural-language condition ("mass production of solid-state batteries mentioned") — matches push immediately. Up to 5 per watch.

Timezone & language

Briefs are bilingual by default; you pick the display language in Settings, and the delivery hour follows your timezone.
