Telegram#

Connect waper to Telegram: get your daily briefs and alerts there, and chat with your agent right in Telegram. The bot is @waperai_bot.

Connect#

1. In waper, open Settings → Notifications → Telegram and tap Connect Telegram;
2. Scan the QR code with your phone, or tap Open in Telegram on this device;
3. Tap Start in Telegram. Once the bot says hello you're connected, and Settings shows the connected account.

The link works once and expires after 10 minutes; create a new one in Settings if it runs out. A waper account connects to one Telegram account — connecting a different Telegram account replaces the old one.

What you get#

• Daily brief: at your brief time, one message per watch with a new issue — title, lead, the top headlines with source links, and an Open full brief button. Written in your content language.
• Alerts: finished tasks (deep research, transcripts and so on), alert-condition matches, and things that need your decision (with Approve / Decline buttons).

With Telegram notifications on, the adaptive email brief backs off just as it does with browser notifications; set the email brief to "Daily" if you still want it every day.

Chat with your agent#

Send the bot any text and it's the same as asking your agent in waper: it knows your watches, library and memory, and can search, read pages, create watches and write documents. Citations become tappable links, and long answers arrive as several messages.

• Messages within 12 hours continue the same conversation; after that a new one starts. Every conversation also shows up in waper.
• Things that need your decision come with Approve / Decline buttons; things it did that can still be undone come with an Undo button.
• Longer jobs (creating a watch, deep research, transcripts) send a link to the task page first and another message when they finish.
• Credits are charged by actual usage, just like on the web.

Pause or disconnect#

• Pause notifications: send /stop in Telegram or turn off the Telegram switch in Settings; send /start or turn it back on to resume. You can still chat with your agent while paused.
• Disconnect: tap Disconnect in Settings. The bot confirms, and messages you send there no longer reach your agent.
• Blocking the bot in Telegram also stops notifications; unblock it and send /start to resume.
