Documents

waper documents are Markdown — editable in the browser and writable by the assistant.

Editing

  • Create a document from the Documents page: a title plus rich-text editing (headings, lists, tables, code blocks, quotes);
  • The source of truth is Markdown, but the editor is a rich view — you never think about syntax;
  • Autosaves create a revision each time; history retention depends on plan (Free 7 days / Personal 90 days / Pro unlimited).

Let the assistant write

  • Ask in the assistant: "write up this week's EV progress as a document";
  • Or @-mention watches, documents and media to bring them into context;
  • Edits default to suggestion mode: the assistant proposes changes, you approve or reject. A "skip approvals" toggle lets it apply directly.

Citations & footnotes

The assistant cites brief items as footnotes that link to the original source — "every fact has a source" is a product principle.

Export & publish

  • Export a single document as Markdown, or download everything at once;
  • Publish to a waper.page site — see Publish a site;
  • Uploaded images and attachments use /files/ links, rewritten to public URLs on publish.

Capacity

Documents belong to a space; deleting a space moves them to the default space. Body size and version retention are plan-limited — see Plans.
